This combined family effort between Ray and son Desmond has proven to be their best Pinot Noir to date. This blend was created by selecting only two of the finest French (Châtillon forest) oak barrels from the selection of all their 2006 Pinot Noirs in barrels.
The inviting aromas of raspberry and ripe black cherry just continue to intensify as they open up a long with the oak spice and earth tones.
The palate offloads an abundance of concentrated red berry fruits that penetrate throughout the palate. As the luscious flavors continue, the fine tannins interact offering the delicious velvety tone to the finish.
With proper cellaring, this wine can be enjoyed over the next ten years or more.
